Great Sermon! Well researched and balanced sermon. I was specifically looking for some insights into the Beatitudes and found the teaching thoughtful and insightful. Much appreciated.
The Truth about Abortion Pastor Schwertley exposes the horrifying slaughter that is being carried out in American (and elsewhere) in the name of Feminism and Secular Humanism. He recognises that those who approve of abortion are morally no better than Nazis. A nation which tolerates this mass murder is in danger of judgment from Christ.
Great Lecture A very sober introduction to the book of Revelation; anyone interested in the partial preterist view of Revelation must listen to this lecture.
TREMENDOUS! This sermon comes as a breath of fresh air, a clear defense of simply doing what God would have us do despite our age of confusion and self-delusion. Of course, this sermon is not geared toward unregenerate individuals, but for those how are regenerate who will respond to Scripture and repent. It's also a strong defense for corporate discipline and the importance of the local, truly Reformed church. There's LOTS covered in just this first part of a three-part series. Whether you're struggling in your marriage or not, this is a must-hear sermon. God bless Pastor Schwertley and the listeners of this tremendous sermon.
Excellent Lecture A superb introduction to the strong points of the Theonomy movement, and a great defense of the continuing validity of the Old Testament penalties.
Important Teaching Though I am a Reformed Baptist, I love those who hold to the historic reformed views of the Westminster Confession, ie, Hodge, Miller, Alexander, and modern theologians who follow in their paths like Brian. I have listened to a number of Brian's teachings refuting the extremes that are coming into reformed circles, this subject as well as the new perspective, and believe that his teaching is a great addition to Sermon Audio.
Great Sermon! except... Excellant sermon except for replacing the word "the" with "a". I don't believe scripture supports changing the seventh day to any other day. I will listen to the remainder of the series as I'm sure you are going to cover the supposed change.
Great Sermon! Great Sermon. Thank you for having the backbone to stand up for unpopular biblical truth on christmas. However every argument you used rightfully against christmas and easter you fail to use against an equally pagen, heathen, unholy, unsanctified, unblessed day. Your "the lords day", "sunday" "sabbath". Jesus created, blessed, sanctified and rested on His Sabbath day. The seventh day saturday not the first day sunday. Man changed it to sunday not God the same way man changed pagen christmas and easter to holy days. Please have the backbone to study and stand up for His holy sabbath day the seventh day saturday. Please don't rationalise away God's true Sabbath in the same manner as christmas and easter. May God continute to richly bless you with backbone. Again thank you brother in Christ.

Fabulous sermon! I'm in my 70s and this is absolutely one of the best sermons I've ever heard. My only regret is that it is a few minutes over what I could copy for our sons!
Great Sermon! This plain historic and biblical teaching requiring women to cover their heads implicity rebukes virtually all modern churches as anti-scriptural and anti-Christian. The bottom line is that Christian culture (practical working out of Christian teaching) has been destroyed. This can be traced since the Civil War, and the advance of "democracy", of Deism and Humanism.
Every true presbyterian should here this!!! Would that every presbyterian who loves Christ and His Gospel listen to this message! Mr. Scwhertley does what other watchmen have failed to do - issue the clarion call with a certain sound.
To those listeners who are tempted to say that his message is too strong, I commend the words of Spurgeon:
"'That is strong meat,' do you say? Be strong men, then, and feed thereon". (Charles Spurgeon, Sermons 1891).
A Must Hear Series for Clergy and Laity Alike! Thank you so much, Pastor Schwertley, for speaking out on this topic and providing such a great biblical defense for the headcovering for women in worship. It is frightening that so many pastors and elders think they have license to just ignore 1 Cor 2-16 or mess with the scriptures just to keep people happy in their churches. It's scary because it makes you think, how much more are they willing to mess with? And we wonder why so many mess with justification! The headcovering is God's way of telling us that man's (this includes men!) glory is to be covered and God's revealed! The headcovering is a message to man to get his eyes off himself and put them on God in worship. And God has chosen woman to communicate this message to men and women alike in worship. What a privilege! What a privilege to show that you are covered lovingly by Christ Himself, and by a father, husband or elders (if the woman is single)who love you. How beautiful to belong to Christ, and how horrible to refuse His coverature. Stay strong and keep up the good fight of faith and the awesome sermons!
Great Sermon! High quality information that's worth listening to. I'd never heard Pastor Schwertley before, but was intrigued by the topic of this sermon. The information in this sermon is very good - well researched and accurate, and really tells the truth about why Christianity is a better alternative than other religions and philosophies. He distilled into about an hour what it took me a decade to learn. I highly recommend this sermon to people who are interested in beliefs and world views.
Great Sermon! Another powerful message from Brian. The Tares of Satan in the world and in the Church, whose task it is to counter and destroy all authority and influence of the servants of Christ. We must be fully aware of their evil input, that all to often can be allowed to permeate into congregations. We must guard against it, and be prepared for a long struggle, until the end of history and Christ's return. Thankyou Brian for this timely warning.
Praise God for This Message! Thank you so much, Reverend Schwertley, for standing against the Church's political idolatry. Your teaching on two table, WCF theonomy has changed the way I view it, as I used to hold to the more popular second table only view. It has also helped me to better minister to non theonomists who are suspicious or even hostile toward the movement. If our worship isn't godly, our society won't be godly and our labors, no matter how well intentioned, are in vain. Without correct worship, God will continue to send our enemies after us sevenfold, even as he did to Ancient Israel.
It's not easy being a congregant and being pretty much alone with these views, so I know it must be even more difficult being a pastor who is obligated to give people the truth from Scripture in season and out of season. God alone on our side for Christ's sake is better than we deserve, but please be encouraged that God is using you mightily in the Church, and others are standing with you and praying for blessings and protection for you, your family and your church.
A Thoroughly Biblical Message! Thank you for this important message that refutes Dispensationalism. Just as importantly, it refutes White and Black Nationalist heresies which basically teach the same thing dispensationalism does: Ethnicity and national origin (externals) being a determining factor of God's favor. As a reaction against dispensationalism and its accompanying Zionist politics and economics, White Nationalism is gaining a following among people who adhere to Reformed Theology and theonomic ethics, known as Kinism. I am looking forward to your addressing this problem in your messages as you have the Auburn Heresy and Full Preterism, if you are so inclined.
I also found it interesting how you tied in the Auburn Avenue Heresy with the subject matter in this sermon. I have often made the connection in my own mind as well, and it's good to know that the connection makes sense to others who take the study of scripture seriously.
Lastly, I appreciate the anthropological perspective given at the beginning of the sermon, being that there is much confusion today between the word, "Jew" being a religious term or a racial one.
May God continue blessing your ministry and strengthening your church.
