Jon J. Cardwell began broadcasting on SermonAudio in 2006, while he ministered as pastor in remote, bush Alaska at Scammon Bay Covenant Church.
He continued to upload sermons onto this site after leaving bush Alaska, and through his ministry as pastor of Sovereign Grace Baptist Church in Anniston, Alabama from 2009-2018.
Jon transferred ownership of this SermonAudio site to SGBC, Anniston, AL when he was called as pastor to Calvary Baptist Church in Ninilchik, Alaska (2018-present).
SGBC, desiring to be more active in overseas and cross-cultural missions support, directed their resources toward those endeavors, and the site transferred back to Jon Cardwell on November 21, 2022.
While desiring to keep past sermons available to others, Jon is also posting short, devotional thoughts each week for the edification of believers and the advancement of Christ's kingdom.

We are so blessed with God's provision through SermonAudio. While we were ministering in remote bush Alaska, SermonAudio provided many in our village access to our messages while they were away, and it let the folks who supported us as missionaries know exactly how were doing and what we were preaching and teaching. Now, in Alabama, the majority of visitors, and all of our new members, found us on the Internet through SermonAudio. Thanks Steven, for all the improvements you've made to the site. We thank the Lord for this invaluable resource.
