This evening we want to think about what it means for you to be God's workmanship, and your walking in good works which God prepared beforehand. "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." We see here that 1st of all – that Paul is declaring that our great salvation is not our work but God's work, and we need to see it that way; we are His handiwork. 2nd – We have been created in Christ Jesus for good works, and we should be going about to do them. And then 3rd – God Himself has prepared these good works beforehand, that we should walk in them. A very interesting wording here. Let's see if we can understand it better.
