Many people remark on how distant we can be from each other in spite of all the means we have to connect. We need God himself to come and show us how to be in fellowship or communion with someone—and he does this by the communion of the Spirit, by coming to us—into us—himself.
This is a work of love—Christ's love for us, and then, ours for him. We see that the Father's love for his Son has included us, and we are caught into an overflowing of love. In this way, we experience the life for which we were created.
