What brings people together, whatever their background, is our relationship to Jesus and following Him. Satan is the father of lies, and he encouraged the scribes to say that Jesus is driving out demons by Satan. Jesus is stronger than all the forces of darkness. Anything that takes sin and makes it seem like it is not a big deal is evil. Jesus would not stop doing what the Father sent Him to do, even when His earthly family wanted Him to. Doing the will of God is much more important than pleasing your biological family.
