King Agrippa was confronted by the Apostle Paul with the truth. He was shown the truth through 1. The testimony of the Scriptures. 2. The testimony of Paul 3. The Life of the Lord Jesus Christ Yet this man turned away from the truth, and was only ALMOST persuaded, but not altogether, to become a Christian. Why did he turn away at the last ? Two reasons could have been: 1. The Power of sin (his relationship with Bernice) 2. The Power of self (his position) Rev Ralph Hall concludes this sermon by making the following observations: The football team that ALMOST won the final......LOST IT ! The archer who ALMOST hit the bulls eye.....MISSED IT ! The student who ALMOST passed the test.....FAILED ! The person who ALMOST comes to Christ....is LOST 'Almost cannot avail Almost is but to fail Sad, sad that bitter wail.... Almost....but lost' Acts 26: 28 ' Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.' It doesn`t have to be that way for you...come to Christ NOW....make no delay ! Settle the matter of your soul's salvation while He calls you ! 'Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.' (Matthew 11:28)
