Todd Bentley claims that angels who go by names like Winds of Change, Emma, Breakthrough, Healing Revival, and Finance frequent his meetings. The angels apparently carry out tasks associated with their names. He also says that the Angel of the Lord whispers in his left ear often. The left ear, according to Todd, means healing. Again, if the Angel of the Lord was whispering anything in Todd's ear, wouldn't you expect some great fruit to come from it? Where are the fantastic healings? Why can't we ever verify his alleged healings? Todd claims he has raised 31 people from the dead and yet we can't even verify one of them. Out of 31 people, wouldn't you expect there to be an explosion of publicity as one confirmed dead person after another rises from the dead? As far as all these angels with strange names, there is no Biblical precedent for angels with these kinds of names nor is there any reason to believe such.
At one meeting Todd Bentley had this to say; 'when I need a financial breakthrough I don't just pray and ask God for my financial breakthrough. I go into intercession and become a partner with the angels by petitioning the Father for the angels that are assigned to getting me money: “Father, give me the angels in heaven right now that are assigned to get me money and wealth. And let those angels be released on my behalf. Let them go into the four corners of the earth and gather me money.'
…..? Is this how we should be praying? Is he really teaching people to do this?
