Sometimes it is difficult to trust God through the storms that threaten to capsize our faith. Storms have a way of surprising us. Sometimes we can see them developing from a distance but more often than not they just descend upon us without warning. The shock of their arrival and of their severity and not knowing when they will stop is what makes them so unsettling and sometimes devastating. What strengthens our storm tossed faith and stills our fearful hearts is knowing that not only is God bigger than any storm that may blow against us, but in His sovereign love is tirelessly at work through the storm carving out His good, pleasing and perfect will - for our good and for His glory.
