He has brought us into His banqueting house and His banner over us is love. 1st of all – We will consider the beauty of the Lord Jesus Christ in His person, and the kind of Kingdom that He has come to bring to the realm of fallen sinners. 2nd – We shall consider the victorious war that He has waged in order to see sinners changed into saints. And 3rd – We shall consider what it is that stirs the heart of our blessed Lord to draw near to His Bride and to greatly desire her beauty. All 3 of these points I will relate to the Supper that we will partake of in just a few minutes.
