1) We must always listen to God’s word before Man’s word. Let us not be like the World and be blind to God’s Providence. Ignoring Christ’s commands eventually places worldly Men on a sinking ship. (Acts 27:1-12) 2) When God’s people have faith in His Sovereignty we can overcome all things. There are times we have faithfully prophesized disaster, and are caught in the middle of that disaster. ( Acts 27:13-26) 3) Christians can survive a sinking ship, family, career, Church, or Nation. The faith which overcomes the World is ours. (Acts 27:27-44; Lamentations 1)
