When was the last time we took a look around us? Not to judge others but to judge our own influence on them and ourselves? Hezekiah took a look around him and decided he didn't like what all he saw so when he had the chance to do something about it he seized the opportunity. Now sixteen days later he was seeing some of the fruits of his labor. Now he saw that it was time to get everybody on the same page with God. Before anyone could move forward in their service to God they all had to make a commitment to God. If we ourselves want to move forward for God we are all going to have to make some commitments ourselves in the form of some sort of sacrifice. Here in this passage, we are shown that there were three sacrifices that are needed by God's people. Even to this day if we are going to serve Him properly.
