SERMON INFO
When someone isn’t listening, how can we open their heart to us when they have closed it off?

Paul had founded the church at Corinth but they turned on him and others slandered Paul to them. What did Paul do, and in light of scripture, what should we do?

Awareness: what causes a closed heart?

Assessment: do "I" have a closed heart?

Action: opening a closed heart

“ Something for everyone. ”
At first I was listening to the sermon, thinking (haha) how so and so should really listen to this and then it started getting to ME. I can definitely say that it's possible to have more than one beam in your eye. I am finding more and more reasons to keep my mouth shut!

“ Great Sermon! ”
Good sermon. It makes me take a look at my own motives while dealing with others in the faith and the unsaved.

“ Biblical application at its best ”
After listening to this sermon I was able to apply what was taught to a real life situation and it was amazing to see God work when you apply HIS biblical truths. Test it against the scriptures and when it stands the scrutiny then you have no excuse but to apply it in your own life. God, through this message, has changed my life.

“ Change your world! ”
This sermon is absolutely applicable to every person. There is no one exempt from this one. If you will take the time to listen to it and "open your heart" it will change your world.

“ Great Sermon! ”
This is one of the most powerful sermons I've ever heard. I was convicted that I had closed my heart to an individual when all I wanted to do was blast them with accusations of how they had "hurt" me with their actions all the while justifying myself. I struggled in prayer to understand why I couldn't "let it go" and why I was so angry knowing that my thoughts and actions were not allowing Christ to shine through. The realization that my heart was closed with pride hit me like a punch in the gut. I thank God for giving me a broken and contrite heart through this powerful, life changing message. Thank you Lord for answering my prayer.

“ Are you for real? ”
How is it that you made me click this link against my will? And when it didn't end after a polite 2 minutes, how did you make me listen to the whole thing that seemed like hours? I have a closed heart to going to church, or seeking God any further. I am a believer, and I know I am going to heaven, but I want nothing further, I am disillusioned by church people. The last time I was forced to go to church, a giant black man grabbed me, a stranger, enveloped me in the warmest and most sincere hug and welcome words I have ever had. It was the only good thing that happened to me. To this day, that is the only spark of motivation I have, will the greeter still be waiting at the door? Three things kept me listening.... you say "Amen?" like a question at the end of some sentences, like others who might say "Am I right?" You said "dude" twice, like a real person talks, and you talked straight to me, in my house, next to me, and looked me in the eyes. I felt all that. I never heard your bible thump or felt that lightning strikes were eminent. I got lost a lot as I tried to follow along your words, but still came away with just a few things. It matters to me what happens to you. I really don't think anyone will really read this, but I wrote it anyway.
