Response to Paul Paul,
Our responsibility is not to "fit" these two truths. "Whosoever believeth" is clearly the offer of God. "Election" is just as clearly in the pages of your Bible and must be as clearly articulated. Know this, to "believe on Him" is to "come to Him" (John 6:35) and all those who are "elected" will believe on Him (John 6:37).

Great Sermon! So what about John 3:16? I have a hard time seeing how election fits in with free will. Can you explain that?

Answer to Katie Sister, look, for example, to Genesis 18. He saw "three men." To say that they may not have been male is to say that God (the One Who discussed Sodom with Abraham) may not have been male. So, it is not "generally speaking" at all when we look at cases like this. These were "three men." Good thinking and studying, sister.

Just a thought about gender-less angels One thought I had about the gender of angels and the "gender" of who we will be in Heaven: how would we describe someone today who is neither male nor female? Since "man" is used to include both genders, in the sense of "mankind," could the description of angels in the Bible be the generic "man"/"mankind" instead of explicitly "male" since our human brains can't really comprehend a genderless human-like form?
