Theme: To see Jesus for who He really is and to come into a relationship with Him by faith, results in a transformed life. In vv. 35-37, we see the blind man's opportunity to encounter Jesus. In application, we must take opportunities that we have to shepherd our souls to a closer walk with Christ. In vv. 38-39, we hear the blind man's confession. He saw Jesus for Who He was, Lord and King, and he cried for mercy, and so must we. In vv. 40-43, we see the blind man's salvation and transformation. After his healing, he follows Jesus and glorifies God. We need to examine ourselves to see if we have truly been transformed by Christ. When you encounter the living Christ, you will be changed!
