“ Great Sermon! ”
I think we should focus on sharing the love of Christ and making a case for the true nature of God. He is not a racist and is acccepting of all who acknowledges his son as Lord and Savior and lives their lives accordingly regardless of race. Why respond with focusing on how the black community is destroying themselves? Why not focus on who God is? How does throwing out statistics draw people to Christ? We all need him and are lost without him. I guess im a little of the whole "well black people this and white people that" conversations. Lets get back to the gospel!

Let me try to address the rationale behind including abortion statistics. Our point is that there are certain things in existence in America right now that are plaguing the development and sustenance of the black community, namely violence and abortion. Sure, the vast majority of serial killers are white. And yes, the sins of the past are egregious and should be acknowledged and addressed. We have actually done so on numerous podcasts. However, none of those factors are really germane to the discussion. We cannot change the past (as much as we would like to), and serial killers are such a minute portion of the population, they are hardly impacting population on a national scale. There are two things that are, however, and those are violence (gang or otherwise) and abortion on a massive scale. These are two issues that can be and need to be addressed for the very survival of America, most notably the black community. While the Martin-Zimmerman story is tragic, it is hardly a national epidemic. These events do not happen everyday, thank God; but abortions and death due to gang violence occurred multiple times while I typed this response. Our goal is to draw attention to the real problems that need to be addressed from a Biblical worldview. Thanks for listening.

Sure lynchings happened sure Indians were slaughtered and it's inexcusable and horrific but that was the past. Now we have precious gifts of God being slaughtered with the consent of their mothers and the most frequent of this murder is from the black community which is mostly silent with exception of a few brave men like johnny hunter who takes a stand against the genocide of black children.

I think you guy's are a bit harsh and judgemental. I don't see the relevance in bringing up percentages as far as who has the most abortions. Sure abortion is wrong and sinful but if your going to do that let's talk about a couple of other percentages. Like who has the highest percentage of killing babies outside of the womb. You can start with Susan Smith, and Andrea Yates. While you are digging up numbers which Race of people have performed the most serial killings. Don't worry I won't make you include all the Indians and Black slaves that were killed and lynched. It's pretty interesting that your religion only focuses on certain sins when it's conveniant for you to get your opinion out. If you'll are going to discuss things you need to do it across the board fair and balanced. Thanks
