INRTO: I wanted to do one message on heaven. So, I did one the last Sunday I spoke. Since I only wanted to do one, I'll just do one more this morning, and only one more the next time I preach. When we talk about heaven, we usually think that when Christians die, they go up to heaven and from then on, they dwell with God in heaven forever. A biblical understanding of prophecy changes that vastly. In the last message I have shared how and where I see a Christian enters heaven. Here he joins those who have died from when Abel died in Genesis 4 until the last person dies before the rapture. After the rapture, the Church, the bride of Christ and Christ are married. After 7 years they come back down to earth where all the lost are slain and the beast and the false prophet are cast into hell. Then Satan is bound for a thousand years, at the end of which he is loosed for a little while, and then comes the last and final judgment known as the great white throne judgment. Turn to Revelation 21. It is after the great white throne judgment that we arrive at the eternal state, and it is the eternal state that we usually think of as heaven, but it actually takes place on the new earth.
