We have reached the point in Jeremiah where the rebuilding and planting begins. God has promised them peace, prosperity, and protection. Jeremiah also points to the Messiah in these chapters. (Why did Christ do all He did? So God would have a people and we would have a God.)
But perhaps the most precious verse in this passage is Jeremiah 31:3 where God promises His everlasting love and faithfulness. His love will never be cut off or stopped. He loved us when we were unlovable--and that's how we are to love others. Love consistently and show them HIS love.
Our mission in life is to share the love of God. We have to share the good news of the gospel with everyone we meet. We show no concern for them when we don't share anything.
