“ Not shallow ” Parts 2 and 3 seem to be flip-flopped where 3 is the earlier message and 2 is the later one from that day, if you want to listen to them in order. In one of these, Dr. Cairns talks about the shallowness of the preaching now. Before I discovered the true preaching of the Reformation I felt the same way, trying to get spritual nourishment from twinkies - I knew the Bible I was reading had so much more in it than any of the preaching I could find, but it was very hard to find any Biblical preaching anywhere. These messages are recorded through God's grace to let Christians hear what preaching ought to be like. And, I encourage people who aren't Christians and don't like the Christian faith to listen to a series like this one because you've probably never heard any true Biblical Christianity before.
