This sermon/lesson was delivered at the Princess Chapel Church in Ashland, KY by Pastor Douglas Salyer, the Exposition from Romans as part of the Expository Bible Study, verse by verse through the Book of Romans on June 5, 2019.
This lesson, Part-93, from Romans chapter 14.
The main text for this message was taken from Romans 14:10-12.
Paul has been dealing with the subject matter of 'gray areas' in the life of the believer. Do not take this Scripture out of context and think that he is referring to all matters of judgment, because in the proper context Paul is speaking of gray areas. Areas that are not clearly defined in Scripture and he is defiantly not speaking on rebuking or correcting matters of sin. However, matters of moral indifference that are neither defined as right or wrong in the Bible, and is left up to the conscience and the attitude of the believer to act upon.
We must all be very careful in this area, because we will never stand to be judged by men in eternity, but by Christ Himself. Each and every Child of the King will stand in judgment before the Lord Jesus and all our deeds will be made manifest, for it shall be revealed by fire on that day.
