Two things unfitting: delight for a fool and anger for the wise. Do you struggle with anger? Do people "jokingly" refer to you as quick tempered or say that you have a short fuse? For our first-hour service, Pastor Simpson pointed to Proverbs 19:10-12 to address the matter of anger, deceit and discretion. If you'd like to refresh the relationships around you, Pastor pointed to verse 12 instructing us to be as dew upon the grass - calm and refreshing. However, on the contrary, there's a righteous anger as well... Of course, we should be careful not to use this expression of "righteous anger" as an excuse for our anger, but there is a righteous anger that should be exercised with tremendous discretion. Pastor warned that believers be extremely careful when using righteous anger. Additionally, anger is harmful to our health and our mental state and more! Pointing to a recent study, anger is proven to produce more heart attacks, strokes, and sickness.
