The grace of God makes it possible for all to be justified by faith and be reconciled to God. But one must remain in faith in order to remain justified. Justification means that we have entered into a covenant with God and are willing to do what the covenant requires. We are to experience our own personal righteousness as we follow after Christ by faith. When one enters into this life they are made righteous, not simply credited to be righteous! The purpose is that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. As long as one continues and complies with these terms they remain justified as a living sacrifice. As this continues the righteousness of God is imparted to them. But the Holy Spirit does not dwell in a dirty vessel. Each must personally experience growth in the righteousness and holiness of Christ, it cannot be given any other way! One must take up their cross and follow after Christ. God has promised victory, but we must have faith to have the victory and receive this inheritance. There is no reason to become fearful or discouraged. Look to the examples of great people of faith who have gone before us! See their obedience, their humility, and their faith in God. They did not let the disobedience of others to keep them out of Heaven. Are you willing to do the same?
