I agree, Mr. Black. Dr. Weaver is a great historian of the War of Northern Aggression, as well as a very good expositor of Bible. Although I dont always agree with some of his interpretations. Dont anyone get confused with southern heritage and support for slavery and racism. You can be for one and against the other. As many were during that time.

One more point, what will be next? Bragg, Lee, Hood, A.P. Hill and more. What do they have in common ? They are all Confederate generals. Should all those military installations name after them be changed? They fought under and defended that flag. Just asking?

It is a free speech issue. "I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend your right to say it." After today's SCOTUS ruling on same -sex marriage. Soon, the Christian flag you see in many churches today will not be allowed to be flown outside in public. It will be a symbol of hate and intolerance. Mark it down.

Mr. Harris talks about an article written by a church leader calling for the removal of the Confederate Flag. While Sean seems to recognize some of the errors in logic that the man makes in the article, he still agrees in the end that a Christian should not fly or display the Confederate Battle Flag. I believe this is a grave mistake. First, those at the forefront of the call to remove/ban this flag are leftists who would also see our First and Second Ammendment rights taken, but also want our true American History and heritage revised/destroyed. Second, the truth of the matter is the Confederate Battle Flag is not a symbol of racism, slavery, or sinful hatred, though many have been deceived by propaganda and lies chiefly through the government schools and controlled media. The KKK more often uses the Stars and Stripes in its meetings (as well as the Christian flag at times) than the CBF. Does that mean we get rid of those flags as well? Where does this end? The CBF bears the emblem of the cross of St. Andrew, who counted himself unworthy to die in the same manner as Jesus Christ, though he was crucified for his faithfulness to Him. This flag is a symbol of courage and bravery in the face of persecution and tyranny. For more info, I recommend Dr. John Weaver's messages.

Brother Harris, I really enjoyed this episode of your news in focus. Thank you. I have for a long time felt the confederate flag offensive in nature. Perhaps, once it was the symbol of southern pride. But, it's been hijacked by hate groups and over time has evolved into a symbol of hatred. I forget the name of the young man with you on the program, but he said don't let the flag cover up your light. that, atleast to me, was a very important take away to the program. It makes me re-evaluate my thinking in how i appear to my brothers and sister in Christ and to the world looking at me. Am I reflect Christ or the world. Thank you so much. You guys knocked it out of the park with this one!!!
