Get books into your houses, when you have not the spring near you, then get some water into your cisterns; so when you have not that wholesome preaching that you desire, good books are cisterns that hold the water of life in them to refresh you; So, when you find a chilliness upon your souls, and that your former heat begins to abate, ply yourselves with warm clothes, get those good books that may acquaint you with such truths as may warm and affect your hearts.

Seek ye first of Mt 6:33 Jesus Christ told us all to seek first God's Kingdom and God's Righteousness, Mt 6:33. Very simply: This is the beginning of salvation under the New Covenant as Paul also made very clear in Ro 1:16-21. God's entire Holy Bible is about His Righteousness, His Righteous requirements for mankind, His Gift of Righteousness through Jesus Christ and His Righteous Judgment. His Kingdom is the Home of Righteousness. No one, absolutely no one, will receive His one and only Holy Spirit baptism of Grace and Truth until he or she has received the Righteousness we must seek first. What did you find? Unless we find exactly what Jesus Christ wants us to find, we are not saved.
Here are a couple of critical verses from the public domain ASV: Ro 10:3-4, "For being ignorant of God's Righteousness and seeking to establish their own, they did not subject themselves to the Righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the Law unto Righteousness to everyone that believeth." The unbelieving Jews were not the only ones who would have this problem. Here are a few simple critical questions: What Law? What, exactly, must we believe? How must we subject ourselves to the Righteousness of God?
