Before Peter and Andrew became Apostles they had learned to skillfully cast nets into the sea to catch a harvest of fish to sell at the market. But when Jesus called them to discipleship, He promised to teach them how to catch the souls of men if they would just follow Him. That same promise holds true for any of us who truly follow Christ: He Himself will teach us by His word and example how to do the work of evangelism if we will simply follow Him in obedience. In this message we explore the net with which we catch men's souls: the gospel of Jesus Christ and Him crucified. This is followed by several practical exhortations on how we are to cast that net into the sea of humanity.
