Most today believe that God loves everyone without exception. An examination of Scripture reveals differently though, specifically in the case of Jacob and Esau. There is clear distinction between the elect and the reprobate, with God loving the one and hating the other.

A clear, fresh approach. This sermon really makes it clear. I am used to hearing the first chapter of Ephesians droned over and over to make the point of limited atonement, while the scriptures Pastor McDaniel uses are simply put and to the point. This should be on everyone's top sermon list and should be required listening for universal salvation proponents.

Great Sermon! How many people have been duped by these 3 words... God loves you? Where are we instructed in the scripture to tell everyone that God loves them? Jesus told His disciples that, "You will know them by their fruits" (Matt. 7vs16).Jesus told His sheep to be fruit producers and examiners. He never instructed them with the command to tell people that God loved everybody. Why didn't Paul tell Agrippa that God loved him. Did Paul tell the Men of Athens that God loved them? How about Moses to Pharaoh? John to Diotrephes? Elijah to the false prophets of baal? God's love is on those to whom He gave to His Son (John 6 vs.37). God's gifts of grace, mercy, peace, joy, forgiveness, repentance and yes...love is not upon all nor is it given to all.

Does God Love Everyone? Dear Pastor McDaniel, We commend you for preaching the truth of God's Word, for truly, the revelation of the entire Bible is the Gospel of Grace to ALL those FOR WHOM CHRIST DIED. The key to understanding the nature of salvation is to be found at the cross, in the substitutionary atonement of our LORD Jesus Christ. Christ died for HIS people (Matthew 1:18-21). We pray that your soul will continue to be enlightened by the Spirit of Christ to preach the love of God to His Own people every time you preach and from every verse in Scripture. Then, your opening apology to the congregation will not be necessary. Your congregation must hear and will come to expect this message every time you speak! You must answer the question, before God and man, "Does God Love Everyone?" Yes! Everyone for whom Christ died! The ones who will not hear are none of HIS. Fear not! Quit ye like men! Great Sermon!

Powerful, Needed and Rare Sermon! A powerful and clear sermon that proves the heresy of modern Christianity and it's False Gospel of "God loves you and offers a wonderful plan for your life" (made popular by the Four Spiritual Laws tract from Bill Bright's Campus Crusade for Christ, which infiltrated a generation ago). The new gospel ("another gospel") of "God loves **you**" is an unscriptural innovation, not found in New Testament preaching, *presumptuously proclaiming something certain toward all individuals*, indiscriminately, universally, and equally, that only God would know in his secret Providence--i.e. Jacob vs Esau! Jesus said he talked in parables, to hide the truth from some, "lest they hear and be saved", did he not?
Before this late 20th century innovation, "God is angry with the wicked every day" and "*hates* all workers of iniquity" (Ps. 5:5) was preached, and "unless you repent, you will all likewise perish", faithful to scripture. Telling the sinful, openly wicked, or self-righteous, that "God loves you", is not only presumptuous, but countenances them in their sinful way to destruction! It is the very premise of that heresy, Universalism!
The speaker makes short work of this heretical foundation, proves it to be false, comparing scripture with scripture, with boldness and clarity.
