Take one step of growth this week. Don’t be like Americans; we want everything fast. Good growth doesn’t come fast. Slow and steady wins the race. And, stop beating yourself up about the past, about how much you haven’t done. You’re a great sinner, but you have a great Savior. Keep your eyes on Him. Scottish pastor Robert M’Cheyne wrote, “Do not take up your time so much with studying your own heart as with studying Christ’s heart. ‘For every look at self, take ten looks at Christ.’”
