Atheists say there is no God or gods yet at the same time they do not want to have to prove it (their position is religiously "faith" based since they cannot prove that God does not exist). How does an atheist solve a problem like this? By using a simple rhetorical trick known in logic as the fallacy of EQUIVOCATION. Wikipedia (the free online encyclopedia), for example, defines EQUIVOCATION as "classified as both a formal and informal logical fallacy. It is the misleading use of a term with more than one meaning or sense (by glossing over which meaning is intended at a particular time)." In the case with modern anti-Christ atheists such as Madalyn Murray O'Hair, Richard Dawkins, & others this EQUIVOCATION trick comes in quite handy. This simple atheist trick involves confusing the definition of atheism with the definition for agnosticism. Whenever convenient atheists mix & confuse the agnostic definition with their own philosophical atheistic position to confound their opponents. However, as can be seen in this debate between Walter Martin (founder of the Christian Research Institute & author of the classic book, "The Kingdom of the Cults") & Madalyn Murray O'Hair (responsible for removing prayer & the Bible out of public schools in a 1963 US Supreme Court ruling, director of the American Atheist Center in Austin, Texas) on this topic, Walter Martin refuses to let O'Hair get away with it..
Anyone can simply go to any number of dictionary references & look up the words "atheist" and/or "atheism" & then the words "agnostic" and/or "agnosticism." The dictionary definitions clearly show a difference between the meaning of "atheist" & "agnostic."
