The bible says in Proverbs 11:30 "and he that winneth souls is wise.", and that is certainly true. God leaves us here after we get saved in order to carry on the 'ministry of reconciliation' that our apostle Paul tells us about in 2 Corinthians 5:18. But in our Laodicean Church Age in which we find ourselves, there is much confusion surrounding the biblical art of soul winning, and as a result, many have quit trying altogether. Today I would like to bring you a message on soul winning according to the bible, and quite likely, not according to your local church even if you attend an independent fundamental Baptist church. Why? Because biblical soul winning has been corrupted over years, and in many cases reduced to "say this prayer with me and you'll be saved" which is not biblical soul winning. Salvation in the Church Age has nothing to do with saying the "sinners prayer" and everything to do with becoming convicted of your status as a sinner before a holy and righteous God. Without the conviction of your lost and sinful condition, made clear to you through scripture, salvation cannot take place. Salvation is not a feeling or an emotion, it is a transaction of giving Jesus Christ your sins in exchange for His righteousness. Before you be saved, you have to know you're lost. Today I would like to show you how to become a biblical soul winner, and I promise you, it will free you from the shackles of the denominational bondage you have likely been laboring under.
