SERMON INFO
When the Bible refers to the stupid, it is referring to those who refuse correction. Those who love discipline, love it because they love knowledge. It is foolish to think that we can sneak around and think that God, who sees everything, will not intervene. A man cannot be established through wickedness, while the righteous cannot be uprooted. We should desire to have good character. We need to be careful where we get our advice, we should consult the wise who are wise from God. We should not take advice from people headed in the wrong direction, those who do not love God. It is better to be, than to pretend. It is better to be a nobody than to pretend to be somebody. People who go against God are cruel, while a righteous man is even cares for his animals. Everyone needs to work. The Lord detests lying lips but He delights in men who are truthful. Diligence is hard work with an attention to detail. God's word is truth and if we start speaking His word to others He will use us to change lives. When God gives us something, we should take good care of it and appreciate what we have. We need to be living now with an eye towards immortality. God is the One with whom we have to do.
