In Mark 3, we see the amazing story of Jesus and the man with the withered hand, and incredibly, what we are about to read about him is only the sub-text for the larger issue of the rejection of Jesus Christ by the 'conservative Right' of the Pharisees, and the 'liberal Left' of the Herodians. Tie it all together and it becomes a spiritual bombshell with eternal ramifications. We live in a day and time where bible prophecies over 2,000 years old are beginning to come to pass before our very eyes, and like Habakkuk 1:5 tells us, we are seeing it but not believing it. The man with the withered hand had a very pressing need, he needed a healing, and Jesus was a thousand percent capable of giving it to him on the spot, which He did. But in order to receive that healing, the man was asked to do something that was not only hard to do, for him, it was an impossibility. This morning I would like to bring you a message on when Jesus asks us to do the impossible, and how we can have the victory just as the man with the withered hand did. Impossible faith? Absolutely right.
