Jude made a necessary appeal to the early Christians to contend for the faith once for all delivered to the saints. To that end, he warns of certain people who have slithered their way into the church with false doctrines. We are to know and avoid these ungodly people. (Jude 1:3,4) Graciously, the Holy Spirit, through Jude, gives us some identifying marks of these false teachers, as well as why or how they might arise in the church.
