The end of the life of Solomon was a tragedy that was totally avoidable. All of us will come to the end of our days and either we will have finished the work that he has given us to do or we will have done our own thing. When a person is called by God they are given the resources or the goods of God. The call of the gospel is to a relationship of Sonship with God that must be lived out. Solomon was given the blessing and the wisdom of God. He walked with God for a season until pride got into his heart. He finishes up his days living for the flesh and setting things in motion that will ultimately destroy everything that he built. This is a plea from the heart of God for us to serve him now with everything in our being and not wait until the end only to find out that we've wasted the anointing of God.
We are living in the days of the gospel harvest and God is looking for people who are willing to be vessels through whom he can seek and save those who are lost.
If we will surrender everything to him and put away the actions and attitudes of the flesh then we will be such a vessel and we will reach this generation.
