Was the death of Jesus Christ on the cross sufficient to satisfy the justice of God, and to pay the price for our sins? We learn from this address that Rome teaches the insufficiency of Christ's sacrifice, teaching instead that we need to spend time in Purgatory after our death, so as to be purified from sin. This anti-Christian doctrine is very clearly explained, as is what Rome teaches concerning the Mass, or Eucharist. The message concludes with comments on the need to 'reach out' to Roman Catholics, with the 'voice of the shepherd' - proclaiming the true Gospel of The Lord Jesus Christ.

THE CATHOLIC CHURCH A CULT THE CATHOLIC CHURCH JUST LIKE THE MORMANS AND JAHOVAH WITNESS ARE A CULT. SATIN DOING SOME OF HIS BEST WORK. SOWING SEEDS OF DECEPTION. ALL OF THESE CHANGE THEIR DOCTRINE AS NEEDED. I DONT THINK MOST CATHOLICS KNOW WHAT THEY BELIEVE TODAY. HOW CAN THEY HEAR LEST THEY HAVE A PREACHER. NOT A PREIST.

Biblically refuting purgatory This exposes purgatory and the mass as the denial of Jesus Christ as the all-sufficient savior. Purgatory is where venial sins (less serious sins) are purged prior to admittance to heaven says the catholic church. The mass is an unbloody sacrifice of Christ according to the RCC catechism. So to say Jesus is their savior is not true because He didn't pay for all of their sins, despite the strong word of propititation in 1 John 2:2 stating otherwise. That word is strong, check the greek, it was an actual atonement, made in full. Jesus gets all of the glory. Salvation, heaven, is about the forgiveness of sins and blessed fellowship with God who forgave all of our sins. Email me if you want those verses beginning at 23:15 minute mark. [email protected]

Great Sermon! Thank you for clearly pointing out the error in the beliefs that are held today as were put forth at Trent. People perish for lack of knowledge.

Letting The Bible Speak For Itself! Mike Gendron is providing a crucial service to God's elect who are being misled by men preaching a different gospel than the one Jesus gave us. Dear catholic reader, if you desire to stay in the Roman Catholic Church, that's fine with me, but it is important to know that almost all that it taught there is from human tradition. Paul said that man's tinkering with the gospel renders it to "none effect" and cannot save. As a former Roman Catholic myself, I'll trust the Bible! THANKS Mr.Gendron. (keep up the good work)

Great Sermon! This is a wonderful sermon as it sets out the erroneous doctrine of purgatory - which is totally unbiblical among so many other things regarding the roman catholic church - in a way which makes it easy for everyone, including many of us who don't understand the catholic church at all. This sermon is a must if one want to be educated on purgatory and the catholic church so they can refute it with knowledge should the opportunity ever come up.
For 34 years Evangelist Mike Gendron was a devout Roman Catholic and a strong defender of the "one true church." In 1981, at an evangelistic seminar, Mike heard for the first time that salvation is not by works or sacraments but by grace through faith in Jesus Christ! He also...
