Truett, and when introduced to the great preacher he was surprised that Dr. Truett had been praying for him and his ministry in Borger, Texas, the wild-west oil town. Then Truett turned to Barnard and said, "Young man, learn that it is not important to preach a bunch of truths but the only thing worth proclaiming is a PERSON, our Lord."
