It is strange how a government that had demonstrated quite a bit of hostility toward Christianity became suddenly interested in quoting the Bible and interpreting it for us. We were told that the proper way to "love your neighbor" during Covid was to shut down our businesses, stay home, mask up, and get an experimental shot with no safety data. Sadly, many churchgoers accepted the government's exegetical interpretations at face value.
