You may have heard the saying that goes, "The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing." That's easier said than done! We are very prone to distractions. Distractions test our commitment to keeping the main thing - the main thing. In fact, it could be argued that if distractions succeed in taking our minds and actions away from the 'main thing,' it was never really our main thing. The Apostle Paul warns us about being distracted by the enemy in, 2 Corinthians 11:3 But I am afraid that as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your thoughts will be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ. This Sunday, we'll be reminded about the 'main thing,' and we'll see a time when people were hesitant to do battle against the enemy.
