In this latest edition of our online Bible study, Paul Scharf, church ministries representative for The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry, continues his new series called "Prophetic Lessons from the Coronavirus Crisis." This time, in Lesson 2-B, we focus on God's calling of Abram in the post-flood, post-Babel world, in which the Lord made a covenant with Abram and the nation that would flow from him and Sarai. This covenant is, in fact, the basis for understanding "The Pattern and Paradigm of Prophecy"—and, indeed, all of God's work through all the rest of history. We also briefly consider how Israel remains distinct from the Gentile nations during the church age, because God still has a future for Israel! Next time we will think further about how we are to live our lives during this church age. All who trust in the Messiah—who believe the gospel—during this time are in the one true body of Christ together. Praise God—and thanks for listening!
