In part two of this introduction to Revelation 19:1-10 we consider the question of the heavenly praises that commend the pouring out of judgment upon the earth.
So often people accuse God of not being good since He is obviously allowing evil to exist and continue on the earth. "How can a good God allow this evil to continue?" they say.
But then, at the same time, they accuse God of not being good for having poured out judgments upon wicked people in the past. "How can God just destroy people like that?" they accuse.
They cannot have it both ways. Either God exists and because of His goodness must, at some point, judge all evil and all evil-doers...or their is no such thing as righteousness and a righteous God.
Yes, God will judge the earth and all its inhabitants in righteousness at some point. Either, He has already judged our sin, in full, in the body of Jesus Christ on the cross, for those who place their trust in Him. For those who have not placed their trust in Jesus alone, the time is coming when Jesus Christ will judge their sin in full, because they have not trusted in Jesus. See John 3:16-20.
