While Standing at the corner of Kimberly and Marquette with his "Stop and Talk" cross, an African American couple drove to the intersection and stopped at the light. The young lady who was driving called out, "Stop and talk about what?"
Tony pointed to the cross and with a chuckle replied, "I would think it would be obvious."
"Oh." The driver said. "Can we park there?" She asked, pointing to the parking lot behind me.
"Sure! I would love to talk to you if you have the time!" Tony said.
Once the light changed, the driver made the left turn and pulled into the Popeye's Chicken parking lot. Having parked, the passenger got out of the car and called to Tony, waving for him to come to the car.
The driver's name was Shannon. The passenger's name was Pierre. Both were in their twenties. Pierre wore a gold crucifix around his neck.
What followed was a wonderful 50-minute conversation in which Tony gently pulled them out of the fire of Islam and introduced them to the God they've always known and His Son Jesus Christ.
