13. Love hopes all things:
> This is the optimistic face of love.
> Hopes the best from others
> This is not blind optimism, but redemptive hope.
> Love is confident in the efficacy of the Gospel. Phil 1:6
> Love makes us serve others in hope
14. Love endures all things:
> Love holds its ground under the push of trials, afflictions and tests.
> Infused in Gospel hope, love stands under the weight!
> “There is no greater love that one lays down His life for his friends.” John 15:13
15. Love never fails:
> The literal meaning is: “love, will never ever, fall, crumble or come to ruins.”
> Love, infused by the Spirit, girding the gifts with which we are endowed by Him to serve one another, WILL NEVER EVER FALL!
> I John 4:8 The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love
> A noun (love) is attributed to a Noun (God).
> God is love
> “By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world.”
> The practice of love, can only be rooted in this Gospel… “so that we might live through Him.”
> Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control
POINTS TO PONDER: >Don’t you feel short and lacking? >Husbands this is how you love your wives – as Christ loved the church - >Church: “love one another fervently, from the heart.” >The only way to have this love is by: “considering Him... Hebrews 12:3-4
