Be not shocked, dear brethren, or offended, when the intellectuals disrespect or disregard the word of God and the glories of Christ... rejoice and celebrate His truth. Be burden for them but let the burden be balanced with what God says. For He has made it so that the only way men can know Him is through the foolishness of preaching. For the word teaches us, in wisdom, God has made it in a way that through man's wisdom, man cannot know God. Not every, but most, scientists demand evidence... but no evidence (things seen) is needed nor will be given for the believer. God's word is enough... because He's trustworthy. And the mere thought of trusting what can't be seen is thought to be foolishness by some, but to us who are being saved, the message of the cross is our redeeming hope, a hope that produces perseverance, a hope that wonky disappoint and a hope that doesn't need to be seen. Glory... • (1 Corinthians 1:18-31 ; Romans 8:18-39 ; Romans 5 ; Psalm 19)
