As precious as life is, everyone has an expiration date. All of us will have to die and face God. Scripture tells us that it is appointed unto man once to die, then the judgement. If we are not prepared to meet God, we need to prepare now. Whether we acknowledge God or not now, we will meet God one day. The things we idolize here on Earth are just things and will not last. Everyone everywhere is a worshiper of something. Like Aaron, when we mess up we want to pretend that the mess just happened. When it comes to budgeting and scheduling we have control over those things. No One will be able to minimize sin before God. God knows best what will make us happy, not us. We must worship God alone.
