3. WARNING AGAINST AFFLUENCE AND SELF-INDULGENCE. They had their fill of wine, women, and song. They were consumed with hedonism, gluttony, sloth, and drunkenness (Amos 6:4). (Isaiah 5:11-14, 22).
Because they would not repent –“Therefore…” (Amos 6:7), God’s judgment was inevitable. Amos 5:18.
