The resurrected Jesus appeared to his disciples on a mountain in Galilee. He declared that all authority had been given to him in heaven and on earth, and he issued a solemn command that his disciples were to go to all the world's people groups. Then they were to make disciples among these people, baptizing them and teaching them to observe all his commands. It was a daunting task but Jesus promised his presence with them. Today we see the harvest is still great, so we must press forward to obey Jesus' command which is still in effect.
