"Judge not lest ye be judged." This may be the most widely quoted and simultaneously the most misapplied verse in all of Scripture. It has been pressed into service to justify a lack of discernment in God's people, to condone lawless behavior in those who profess to know Christ, and to excuse the near universal neglect of restorative discipline by the visible church. Yet in John 7:24 our Lord says "...judge with righteous judgment". Between these two texts there is no conflict, Christ's words in each place are complimentary and by no means contradictory. So what does Jesus NOT mean when He says "judge not", and what positively does He mean? This message seeks to find the center of Biblical tension in understanding and applying these two commandments of our Lord.

Great Sermon! This is a perfect sermon, very fitting to the topic. Human failings needs correction, If GOD did not love us He would ignore our misdeeds leaving us to our own devices. GOD is perfect and we cannot live without His love displayed on us. Thank you GOD Bless!
