"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!" Psalm 133:1
If we only had the first verse of Psalm 133, it would still be a blessing. It is a beautiful gift to live in true unity with our brothers in the covenant. But we do have the rest of the Psalm. What do the remaining verses mean? The verses paint vivid word pictures usin objects including oil, garments, beards and dew on a mountain. These symbols teach us how true unity comes, what its substance is and how is attained. In this unity is the blessing the Lord commanded—life forevermore.
