I've been working through Thessalonians simply out of a question in my mind and a thirst for more information and knowledge on the early church what is behind this epistle that Paul wrote to the Thessal there in in the city of thessalonia and we were just doing an expository Journey as we move through the passage and it has been adjust nothing short of causing me to chuckle a holy chuckle if you will that we are at this passage on this particular day in light of the events that have just transpired I want to read the passage and then we'll begin the study of 1st Thessalonians 4 beginning and verse 9 through Verse 18 way through this 1st Thessalonians 4:9 but as touching brotherly love you need not that I write unto you for you yourselves are taught of God to love one another and that you study to be quiet and to do your own business and to work with your own hands as we commanded you but I would not have you to be ignorant Brethren concerning them which are asleep that you sorrow not even as others which have no hope for this we say unto you by the word of the Lord that we which are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord you know we never know what circumstances will face tomorrow but today comes before tomorrow obviously and that's where we must live we need to live in our today we cannot live tomorrow but we can live today and this is the issue in essence of what's facing the Thessalonian Church...
