2. Pursue the sources of spiritual passion. a. Growing awareness of the presence of God as a person. b. Sit at Jesus' feet. c. Willingness to let God break the outward self. d. Desire to please God more than to impress people.
3. Practice Lectio Divina a. Read (lectio) b. Meditate (meditatio) c. Prayer (oratio) d. Contemplation (contemplatio)
