Paul continues to lay before the Philippians church and us just what it means to "live is Christ", to live "worthy of the gospel", and to "work out our salvation." It means to live as Christ lived, for God and others, as children of God who shine like stars and cling to the word of life rather than the ways of a dark, crooked and warped world. A life given to God as a joyful sacrifice rather than one lived in vain.
