In His death and resurrection, Jesus will care for His own. Jesus will ask the Father to send the Holy Spirit (25-26) The Spirit will teach the disciples all things (25-26a) The Spirit will bring to remembrance all that Jesus has taught (26b) Jesus will give His disciples peace (27) Peace I leave with you all, My peace I give to you (27a) Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid (27b) Jesus will provide His disciples the opportunity to rejoice (28-29) He will die and rise again (28a) Those who love Him rejoice—the Father is greater than the Son (28b) He tells them in advance so that they will believe (29) Jesus will obey His Father (30-31) The ruler of this world is coming (30) He has no claim on Jesus because Jesus obeys the Father (30) The world will know Jesus loves the Father because He obeys Him (31)
